Silver Valley Farms’ field programs are based on a preventative approach that minimizes the use of chemicals. From early spring until late fall every year, our field scouts closely monitor the condition of our plants. This enables us to use biological controls to protect our crops, with chemical controls used only as a last resort.

We also conduct annual laboratory analyses of our soil to determine the specific nutrients required, avoiding unnecessary fertilizer while still producing a quality fruit.

Silver Valley Farms manages close to 1,200 acres of blueberries. All of our farms are third party audited annually, ensuring that our customers are as confident as we are about our farming practices and commitment to the highest food safety standards.
